i just told my wife the truth about what is going on with me. about how i still think about porn. as recent as last night i told her that i am always able to stop myself from thinking about porn. well tonight i told her the truth which i am glad i did but now she does not believe that that is the whole truth. and i dont blame her. i knew that going in. but i had to tell because i love her so much. she is the reason i have made it this far. using this site has made me realize that i am not alone.

Way to go! That is always a great step to do. Don't bombard her with it for a bit. Wait for her to come back to you. What I am trying to mean is you let her know how you feel and you want to stop. Start trying to show it to her, because the bonds of trust have been broken. Just like a knight, you must prove your worth. But for her, reward her for listening. Do something she wants to do with you. It will work out. Love is more powerful thatn your addiction.

Trust has to be earned, but she should realize you are trying to do the right thing, and it has to start somewhere! Give her plenty of time and "room",, she will realize your love for her has compelled you to "come clean", and if she loves you, she will help you too! --Jon
